Installing Your Palkdot Mounts
Your bike isn’t just sports equipment — it’s functional art. Let’s set up your mounts so it hangs in style.
Set includes:
- Mounts — 2 pieces
- Fischer wall plugs – 10mm diameter, for solid walls (concrete, solid brick, AAC block, natural stone). NOT SUITABLE FOR DRYWALL! Use alternative plugs suitable for drywall if needed.
- Double-sided screws — M8 with Torx T25 head
- Protective spacers for softer wall finishes
You’ll need:
- A second pair of hands to help you level the mounts
- Power drill
- Level
- 10mm drill bit
- Torx T25 screwdriver
Step 1. Choose the spot
Pick the wall where your bike will hang. Remember: this is both storage and part of your interior.
Step 2. Decide how the bike should hang
You decide what should be parallel:

- Mounts on the same level (blue dots) — clean, minimal, perfectly aligned on the wall without the bike.
- Wheels parallel to the floor (blue dots) — in this case, the mounts may end up at different heights (common with sloping frames).
If you own more than one bike, base your setup on the smallest frame so all bikes fit.
Step 3. Mark the placement (two people recommended)
- Hold your bike against the wall where you want it to hang.
- Take one mount with the screw inserted.
- Place it against the frame, about 1.5–2 cm away from the tube junction. Keep the mount at a 90° angle to the wall.
- Mark the spot on the wall — this is where you’ll drill.

Step 4. Install the first mount
- Drill the hole — it should be about 7 cm deep.
- Insert the wall plug.
- Screw in the Torx T25 — leave about 4 cm of the screw sticking out of the wall.
- Twist on the mount — angle it slightly upwards to compensate for bike weight or small drilling inaccuracies. It should feel firm and not bend under pressure.

Tip: For softer wall finishes, use the transparent spacer included: peel off the blue film, then twist the mount until it presses firmly against the wall.
Step 5. Install the second mount
Repeat the same process for the second mount, either at the same level or adjusted for your chosen setup.
Done
Your Palkdot mounts are installed. Hang your bike — and turn it into part of your interior.
