Terms of service
Terms and Conditions (Regulamin)
In force from 1 August 2026. These Terms govern sales made through the online store at palkdot.com. They are drawn up in accordance with the Polish Act of 30 May 2014 on Consumer Rights (Ustawa o prawach konsumenta) and the Polish Civil Code.
§ 1. The Seller
The store at palkdot.com is operated by:
Mikita Rusak Dev
Plac Hallera 5/22, 03-464 Warszawa, Poland
NIP: 1133074179
REGON: 523367477
Sole proprietorship registered in CEIDG (Central Registration and Information on Business), Republic of Poland
Referred to below as "the Seller", "we" or "us". "Palkdot" and "Palk" are trade names used by the Seller.
§ 2. Customer service and contact
The customer service point — for orders, questions, withdrawals and complaints — is:
Palkdot — Mikita Rusak Dev
Plac Hallera 5/22, 03-464 Warszawa, Poland
E-mail: shop@palkdot.com
Phone: +48 511 421 615
Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00 (CET/CEST), excluding public holidays in Poland
The same address is the address for returned goods (§ 9 and § 11). E-mail is the fastest channel and the one we answer first. Calls cost your operator's standard rate — we charge nothing on top.
§ 3. Definitions
- Customer — any person or entity placing an order in the store.
- Consumer — a natural person buying for purposes not related to their business activity, and a sole trader buying something not of a professional character for them. Consumers have the additional rights set out in § 9, § 11 and § 13.
- Goods — the physical products offered in the store: Palk bicycle wall mounts and the VOID bike stand, in the finishes and lengths shown on each product page.
- Order — the Customer's offer to buy specified Goods on these Terms.
- Made-to-order goods — Goods produced to the Customer's specification, as described in § 9.7.
§ 4. Technical requirements
To use the store you need a device with internet access, a current web browser with cookies and JavaScript enabled, and an active e-mail address. No account is required — you can order as a guest.
§ 5. Placing an order and concluding the contract
- Add Goods to the cart, choose the variant (finish and length), open the cart, tick the box accepting these Terms, and go to checkout.
- Enter delivery data, choose a delivery method and a payment method, and confirm the order with the button marked as carrying an obligation to pay.
- Confirming the order is your offer to buy. We send an automatic confirmation that the order was received — this is not yet acceptance.
- The sales contract is concluded when we send you a confirmation that the order has been accepted for fulfilment, normally after your payment is credited.
- We may decline an order — for example when Goods are unavailable, when the data given is obviously incorrect, or when the order is plainly not for personal use. If you have already paid, we refund the full amount within 14 days.
- Orders are placed and processed in English and Polish.
§ 6. Prices
- Prices are shown in Polish złoty (PLN) and, where currency selection is available, in the currency you choose. They are gross prices — the final amount you pay for the Goods.
- The Seller is exempt from VAT under Article 113 of the Polish VAT Act. Prices therefore do not include VAT and invoices are issued without VAT.
- Delivery cost is not included in the product price. It is shown separately at checkout before you confirm the order, and it depends on the delivery method and destination.
- The price binding for your order is the one displayed at the moment you confirm it. Later price changes do not affect orders already placed.
- For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties and import taxes may be charged by the destination country. These are paid by the Customer and are not included in our prices.
§ 7. Payment methods and payment operators
- Electronic payments in the store are handled by two payment operators. Which one handles a given payment depends on the method you choose; the operator is identified on the payment screen before you confirm.

Pastelowa 8, 60-198 Poznań, entered in the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court Poznań — Nowe Miasto i Wilda, 8th Commercial Division, under KRS 0000347935, NIP 7792369887, REGON 301345068, supervised by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) as a national payment institution, entry number IP24/2014. Through Przelewy24 you can pay by:
- BLIK
- payment card (Visa, Mastercard)
- online bank transfer (pay-by-link)
- fast transfer
- The store also accepts an ordinary bank transfer to the account given in the order confirmation.
- Payment is due immediately after the order is placed, except for ordinary bank transfer, where you have 5 business days. If the payment is not credited within that time, the order is cancelled and the contract is not concluded.
- The moment of payment is the moment the funds are credited to the Seller's account or to the payment operator's settlement account.
- We do not receive or store your card details. They are handled by the payment operator you chose.
- An invoice is issued for each order and sent to the e-mail address given in the order.
§ 8. Delivery
- Goods are delivered within Poland and to European Union countries. Delivery outside the EU is possible after arrangement by e-mail.
- Available delivery methods, carriers and delivery times are listed in the Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
- The dispatch time is stated on the product page. If a product is made to order, the lead time is stated before you confirm the order.
- If the parcel arrives visibly damaged, you may open it in the presence of the courier and ask for a damage report. This is not a condition of any claim — it simply makes the carrier claim easier. See § 11.
- Risk of loss or damage passes to the Consumer when the Goods are handed over to the Consumer or to a person indicated by them, not when they are handed to the carrier.
§ 9. Right of withdrawal — 14 days
- A Consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of taking possession of the Goods, without giving any reason and without incurring costs other than those set out below.
- To withdraw, send an unambiguous statement before the deadline expires — an e-mail to shop@palkdot.com is enough. You may use the model withdrawal form annexed to the Consumer Rights Act, but you do not have to.
- Return the Goods within 14 days of sending the statement, to:
Palkdot — Mikita Rusak Dev, Plac Hallera 5/22, 03-464 Warszawa, Poland - We refund the price of the Goods and the cost of the cheapest standard delivery we offer, within 14 days of receiving your statement. We may withhold the refund until we receive the Goods back or until you provide proof of sending them, whichever comes first. The refund is made using the same payment method you used, unless you agree otherwise; it costs you nothing.
- The direct cost of returning the Goods is borne by the Consumer, unless our own return policy provides otherwise (see § 10).
- You are liable for any reduction in the value of the Goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Unpacking and inspecting a mount is fine; drilling it into a wall, loading a bike on it, sanding, oiling or otherwise altering it is not, and may reduce your refund by the value lost.
- The right of withdrawal does not apply to Goods made to the Consumer's specification or clearly personalised — a non-standard tint, a non-catalogue length, a custom leg configuration on the VOID stand. We state clearly before the order is confirmed when an item is made to order.
§ 10. Our own 30-day return
- On top of the statutory right in § 9, we accept returns of unused, uninstalled Goods within 30 days of delivery. This is a contractual goodwill right; it does not limit § 9 in any way.
- The Goods must carry no drill or screw marks, no mounting traces, no scratches, dents or pressure marks, and no sign of a bike having been hung or stood on them, and must be returned in the original packaging. Wall plugs and screws do not matter — used, opened or missing hardware is fine and we do not need them back.
- Within Poland we send you a free return label. Outside Poland you arrange and pay for the return; use a tracked service, as the parcel travels at your risk until it reaches us.
- The original delivery cost is not refunded under this window.
- Contact us before sending anything back. Parcels sent without prior contact are not accepted.
- The full text of the returns rules is in the Refund and Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
§ 11. Complaints — lack of conformity with the contract
- We are obliged to deliver Goods free of defects. A Consumer has the rights set out in Chapter 5a of the Consumer Rights Act, covering the Seller's liability for lack of conformity of the Goods with the contract for two years from delivery.
- Cracked joints, delamination, a mount that fails under normal use, a wrong or missing item, transport damage — all of these are grounds for a complaint.
- Not covered: normal wear, damage caused by incorrect installation, mounting into a wall or fixing that cannot carry the load, overloading, and the natural darkening and grain variation of beech over time.
- File a complaint by e-mail to shop@palkdot.com, or in writing to Plac Hallera 5/22, 03-464 Warszawa. Please describe what is wrong, give the order number, and attach photos of the item and — for transport damage — of the outer packaging. Photos are not a condition of the complaint; they let us settle it without sending the item back.
- We respond to every complaint within 14 days of receiving it. If we do not respond within that period, the complaint is deemed accepted.
- You may demand repair or replacement. If repair or replacement is impossible, disproportionately costly, or we fail to carry it out within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you may demand a price reduction or withdraw from the contract, unless the lack of conformity is immaterial.
- If the complaint is accepted, we cover the cost of sending the Goods back to us from any country, and we either repair, replace or refund. We confirm the return address when the complaint is registered; unless we state otherwise it is the address in § 2.
- Reporting transport damage within 7 days of delivery helps us claim against the carrier, and we ask you to do so where you can. It is a request, not a deadline: it does not shorten or condition the two-year liability described in this section.
§ 12. Uncollected parcels
If a parcel comes back to us because it was not collected or was refused at delivery, we refund the price of the Goods less the shipping we actually paid in both directions. This does not apply where the refusal was itself a withdrawal under § 9 — in that case § 9 applies.
§ 13. Out-of-court dispute resolution
- A Consumer may use out-of-court means of handling complaints and pursuing claims. In particular a Consumer may:
- apply to a permanent consumer arbitration court (stały sąd polubowny) at a Provincial Inspectorate of Trade Inspection to settle the dispute;
- apply to the Provincial Inspector of Trade Inspection for mediation proceedings;
- seek free assistance from a district (municipal) consumer ombudsman (powiatowy rzecznik konsumentów) or from a social organisation whose statutory tasks include consumer protection.
- Guidance is available on the website of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection: www.uokik.gov.pl.
- The European Commission's ODR platform for online dispute resolution is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Our e-mail address for that purpose is shop@palkdot.com.
- Using these procedures is voluntary for both sides.
§ 14. Personal data
The controller of Customers' personal data is the Seller named in § 1. Data are processed as described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Providing data is voluntary but necessary to conclude and perform the sales contract.
§ 15. Intellectual property
The content of the store — texts, photographs, drawings, the Palkdot and Palk marks and the layout of the pages — belongs to the Seller or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright. Using it commercially without our written consent is not permitted.
§ 16. Final provisions
- These Terms are governed by Polish law. This does not deprive a Consumer of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
- Disputes with a Customer who is not a Consumer are settled by the court having jurisdiction over the Seller's registered seat.
- We may amend these Terms for legal, technical or organisational reasons. Orders placed before an amendment are governed by the version in force when the order was placed. The current version is always available on this page, with the date it entered into force.
- These Terms are available free of charge on this page in a form that can be displayed, downloaded, saved and printed.
- In matters not covered here, the provisions of Polish law apply, in particular the Civil Code and the Act of 30 May 2014 on Consumer Rights.
