A bike you paid real money for shouldn't live behind the door
Right now it's probably in the hallway or leaning against the wall in the living room — where you can actually look at it, and where everyone walks past it. Rubber marks on the wall. A pedal caught on the way to the kitchen. One push from a kid, a dog or a draft, and it's on the floor.
Palk puts it on the wall at eye level. Two wooden bars, the bike rests on the frame, and the floor is yours again.
You see the bike, not the mount
Two round bars, 3 cm across, and nothing else — no cage, no arms clamped over the frame. From a few steps back the wall reads as the bike.
Nothing rubs the paint
A soft rubber grip sits where the frame rests, so the tube doesn't slide and the finish doesn't get scuffed. Two spacers go between the mount and the wall, so the wall stays unmarked as well.

Two holes, two plugs, screw the bars in by hand.
It comes off the wall when you move out
Unscrew the two bars, fill two holes, take the mount to the next flat. Nothing is glued and nothing is permanent — which matters if the wall isn't yours.
